Summer Camp
Summer camp should be fun! But it should also provide learning opportunities because research shows that children forget some learning and fall behind academically during the summer months. Wonderland’s summer camp is designed to help each child continue to learn through fun and meaningful experiences. Studies show that children involved in summer camp retain far more of the learning that they gained during the previous school year, and are able to return to school for the next grade level better prepared to learn and succeed.
Field trips, water play and more!
Older children will go on field trips that will, in fun and creative ways, stimulate their curiosity and increase their knowledge. Summer camp will provide many off-campus activities and field trips. These include: exploring local attractions, swimming lessons, museum visits, and more.
Younger children stay at our facilities and enjoy Splash Days, daily art and enrichment activities, including music, and dance. In addition, we have literacy days focused on reading and other events to encourage hands-on activities that help your child continue learning and developing over the summer months.
Certified Teachers, not Camp Counselors
At the Wonderland’s Summer Camp, we have certified teachers overseeing every aspect of our program, not high school or college students looking to earn extra money. We take seriously our commitment to provide a fun, exciting and safe learning environment for your child. For that reason, we maintain a low child-to-staff ratio, ensuring that each child receives a high level of care and attention.
